TSN

TSN is giving hockey fans an early look at some of their favourite teams with live NHL pre-season action. All six Canadian NHL clubs will be featured on TSN and TSN2 this pre-season with a total five live games available on the networks. TSN will have live coverage of four games, and one game will be available live exclusively on TSN2.

Highlights of TSN/TSN2’s live pre-season broadcast schedule include two all-Canadian match-ups, as well as one game featuring the 2008 Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings as they visit the Montreal Canadiens. Coverage begins Wednesday, Sept. 24 as the Toronto Maple Leafs pay a visit to Sidney Crosby and the 2008 Eastern Conference champion Pittsburgh Penguins.

TSN/TSN2’s pre-season NHL coverage complements a 70-game regular-season broadcast schedule that features at least one Canadian team in each match-up.

TSN’s NHL pre-season broadcast schedule is as follows:

· Wednesday, Sept. 24 – Toronto @ Pittsburgh at 7:30 p.m. ET
· Thursday, Sept. 25 – Florida @ Edmonton at 9 p.m. ET
· Tuesday, Sept. 30 – Detroit @ Montreal at 7:30 p.m. ET
· Wednesday, Oct. 1 – Calgary @ Vancouver at 10 p.m. ET

TSN2’s NHL pre-season broadcast schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Sept. 27 – Montreal @ Ottawa at 7 p.m. ET on TSN2
