As it enters its 15th year, The Comedy Network is dressing differently come Nov. 1, 2011 when the channel launches a fresh new look and feel. Designed to best reflect the current programming strategy, the rebranded channel presence, complete with a redesigned logo, can be seen on everything from signage to on-air promos. Simple yet limitless in its potential use, the fun and colourful new branding for Comedy allows for the channel’s personalities to be integrated into applications of the new elements.

| Programming Highlights: BNN Launches New Look with Enhanced Features, October 31 |

Today, Business News Network (BNN) makes it easier for viewers to get the financial information and news they need. This morning, BNN unveils a new look and feel with a larger font, bigger news crawl, a modified news ticker, and a new background colour so that scrolling information and data is easier to read. In addition, BNN returns the data tower to the right side of the screen; in it viewers will find indices, currency and commodity information as well as the opportunity to preview upcoming interviews and events throughout the day.

| Ratings: Another "Monster" Debut on CTV: GRIMM Wins Friday With 1.53 Million Viewers |

The debut of CTV’s newest fall series GRIMM delivered anything but grim audiences Friday when an impressive 1.53 million viewers watched the stand-alone premiere at 8 p.m. Against Game 7 of the World Series, GRIMM was Canada’s most-watched television program Friday night in total viewers and all key adult demos, and becomes one of the most-watched new drama premieres of the season, following the debuts of PAN AM, ONCE UPON A TIME, and UNFORGETTABLE. As a result of its debut success, CTV moves the series into simulcast Fridays at 9 p.m. ET beginning this Friday, Nov. 4.

MuchMusic and today’s hottest celebs come together to celebrate and inspire young Canadians to “be the change” in MUCH PRESENTS WE DAY 2011, premiering Sunday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. ET. Co-hosted by VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Nina Dobrev and chart-topping, teen-throb Joe Jonas, the one-hour special features highlights from We Day events in Toronto (Sept. 27) and Vancouver (Oct. 13). | Ratings: CTV Dances Away with Monday Night |

CTV waltzed away with a Monday night win last night as DANCING WITH THE STARS was the most-watched program nationally and in Toronto and Vancouver. Up 19% compared to last week, DANCING WITH THE STARS delivered a season-high 2.03 million viewers on CTV. Meanwhile, CTV’s CASTLE saw double-digit increases to win the 10 p.m. timeslot with 1.98 million viewers last night and rank as Monday’s second most-watched program. The two programs powered CTV to win primetime from 8-11 p.m. nationally and in Toronto and Vancouver.

| Ratings: CTV's Amazing Sunday Night Lineup Soars Above the Competition |

CTV’s spectacular Sunday night lineup delivered strong performances from 8-11 p.m. last night, with THE AMAZING RACE (2.56 million) winning the night in total viewers and the key adult demos to finish as the second most-watched program of the week, behind CTV’s THE BIG BANG THEORY. Meanwhile, both DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (1.63 million) and PAN AM (1.46 million) saw double-digit increases last night, up 38% and 24% respectively with total viewers over last week. The three programs respectively won their timeslots to become the Top 3 programs of the night on Canadian television, just one week before the critically lauded new series ONCE UPON A TIME joins the CTV Sunday night lineup on Oct. 23.
