Hockey fans will get their fix and more on TSN2. In addition to the 70 NHL games already scheduled to air on TSN this season, TSN2 will bring Canadians an additional 34 live regular season NHL games – including two Ottawa Senators games that previously were never scheduled for broadcast.

In addition to the two exclusive Senators games, TSN2’s NHL schedule boasts some of the best match-ups the league has to offer this season – including six games with Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins, and five games with last season’s scoring champion, and Hart Trophy winner, Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. TSN2 will also show four games featuring the Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings, including a long-awaited rematch against Pittsburgh, their opponent in last season’s championship final.

“The NHL schedule on TSN2 is the perfect complement to our slate of 70 NHL games on TSN,” said Phil King President of TSN. “With TSN2 we give hockey fans more choice and give them greater access to games – like the two Senators games – that would not have been available otherwise.”

The two Senators games to air on TSN2 are Ottawa @ Chicago on December 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET and Ottawa @ Carolina on March 25 at 7 p.m. ET.

TSN2 is now available through television service providers across the country, including nationally on Bell TV and Star Choice. For more information on TSN2 and a complete list of participating television providers, visit TSN.ca.
